Rachael is a fifth generation Tasmanian and lives on a cattle and sheep property in Tasmania's south where she farms in partnership with husband, John, and father, Val Smith. They have established the T&T Fast Grass company with their neighbours, the Tates. The company produces hydroponically sprouted barley to use an alternative feed for their livestock and to supply the horse industry. Rachael is also a mother of two young children and is the international bestselling author of Jillaroo, The Stockmen, The Rouseabout and her latest novel, The Cattleman's Daughter.
Rachael is an accomplished horse women with years of experience working her farm with horses and dogs. Rachael will have copies of her books for sale and will be performing as part of Equus Spectacular with her horse and dogs.
