Heath Ryan

Heath Ryan was part of the Australian Olympic dressage team in Beijing 2008 and represented Australia in the World Cup Finals held in Las Vegas in 2009.

Heath is certainly one of the Australian equestrian industry’s best known and most colourful characters.  He has enjoyed huge success in both eventing and dressage and has become somewhat of a celebrity in the process. The author of his own column in The Horse Magazine, called Ryan’s Rave, Heath has become known for his outspoken and honest style and an engaging sense of humour. Over the years Heath Ryan has worked extremely hard and reached the top level in both sports. This is an incredible achievement and testament to his determination and dedication to equestrian sports. Heath and Rozzie Ryan also manage one of Australia’s top warmblood breeding programs with their competition and breeding stallions: Regardez Moi – Australian Grand Prix Champion, Jive Magic and young stallions Fiji R and Roving Lights.

We are that pleased Heath Ryan has accepted the invitation to join us again in 2010 to share his knowledge. Check the program for times of events featuring Heath Ryan.

Heath Ryan will ride alongside fellow Olympians Megan Jones and Laurie Lever in our Olympic all stars masterclass. (This is a special, separately ticketed event.)

Heath Ryan dressage clinic – Saturday only – (due to limited seating in the main arena this is a special, separately ticketed event).

The dressage clinic promises to be both entertaining and inspiring as some of Tasmania’s best dressage riders experience the exuberant and energetic teaching style of arguably the biggest personality in equestrian sport!

As part of our general admission program and included in your daily ticket price, Heath will be speaking about his breeding program in conjunction with Megan Jones in our breeders' forum. This is an open discussion on their breeding programs for competition horses of the future and a chance for the audience to ask questions and be involved in the discussion.
