Heath Harris is one of the world's elite liberty horse trainers. He uses his experiences of over 40 years in nearly all the disciplines of the horse industry to bring a knowledge and insight to his training techniques that create equine stars. His latest film credits have been for American and English productions, and his talents are mainly cornered by the international film industry.
Heath's areas of expertise reach far outside that of being a horsemaster. He is also credited with stunt coordination and action direction, and with being an actor, presenter and producer.
Some selected credits for feature films & TV series are; The Man from Snowy River, Racing Stripes, Phar Lap, The Black Stallion, and The Legend of Zorro.
Heath has used all of the experience gained in his 40 years as a trainer to mould a fabulous bunch of individual horses and riders into a team that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Heath Harris - Long Reining Clinic - Sunday only (due to limited seating in the main arena this is a special separately ticketed event)
Heath has developed a system of training on long reins which can be used in different ways throughout a horse’s life as a valuable training aid. Long reining can be used as part of “Breaking in” and as an aid to retraining and problem solving. Long reining gives you a Performance Enhancement for any discipline and is also used with great success to train and improve the higher movements for Dressage.
This clinic will be a revelation, prepare to be amazed at what can be achieved and demonstrated with a variety of different horses. See a master at work, as he shows a training method that can take you and your horse beyond good all the way to amazing!!

Check out the awesome skills of Heath Harris and find out how horses are trained for movies and stunt work. You will never look at a horse movie in the same way again! Heath will demonstrate with his own talented equine movie stars as well as some students to give amazing insight into how horses can be trained to work without trainer contact to subtle cues that can be used by actors to create Movie Magic.
As part of our general admission program and included in your daily ticket price Heath and some of his team will entertain with a variety of short performances over the weekend.
